This is my personal blog for that limited number of people that may have occassion to be interested, and also a form of journal for me to augment my deteriorating memory as I careen towards middle age!

I grew up in Scotland, but have lived in Austin, Texas for almost 10 years, where I live with my wife Sara and two cats. I work for a financial firm called NetSpend.

An old friend pointed out to me recently that I had not significantly changed my personal web page since the 1990’s, almost the beginning of the Web, so I decided to replace it with something more interesting.
